Work Experience with Amelia

"Hi, I'm Amelia. I am a sixth form student currently studying Media, Photography and Double Marketing as part of my A-levels. I recently had the opportunity to complete work experience with Richard and his team, which provided valuable insight into the industry.

During my time there, I gained hands-on experience in digital marketing. I was introduced to industry-standard platforms and learned how to use Canva to design social media content aimed at both B2B and B2C audiences.

After developing these skills, I was given the responsibility of editing video content for Branding Box’s social media channels, as well as creating content for one of their clients. This helped strengthen my technical abilities and was highly engaging.

Throughout the placement, I also shadowed Jake and Nick. Observing their design process and understanding the thought process behind their work. This gave me a deeper appreciation of the creative side of the industry.

Overall, this experience has given me a much clearer understanding of the different roles within the industry and the day-to-day tasks involved. I am very grateful for the opportunity and found it to be both enjoyable and insightful!"
